A garden for scattering of ashes and trees of legacy

The creation of
Garden of Eternity
“Autumn afternoon climbing through Sgurr Alasdair 35 years ago. As the sun was slowly setting and I was sliding down the Scree Chute to the base of at Loch Brittle, an eagle flew so close to me. At that moment I knew that no matter what I will never leave Skye.
Having travelled many continents found many friends from all walks of life, whose footprints are still in my heart. I believe that those you hold dear never leave you.
My families land in Skye are now in the custodianship of my family. The opportunity has arisen to create a special place for those who also never wish to leave Skye.
High above Loch Pooltiel in Glendale our land with some sympathetic landscaping by Erika R. Anderson is now a resting place for the scattering or internment of Ashes for those around the world who wish to remain and be remembered in Skye by friends and family.”

Here at the Garden of eternity memorial garden we are seeking to provide comfort, solace and create memories for those who have a longing for Skye. Where they can be forever held and remembered for those who held them dear. We want to give the family all the support they need with friendly, honest, compassionate and caring service to make the day of scattering or interment of ashes of a loved one a memorable day in a special place high above Loch Poitel in Glendale Isle of Skye.
Colin one of principals has dreamed of a garden being created at his family’s croft lands for the past 50 years. The location of the Garden of eternity has been in Colin’s family for over 300 years.
Colin also has considerable years of experience as a funeral director, he can give you advise and a helping hand in these especially difficult times.
It would be our pleasure to answer your questions, offer you support and guide you through the practicalities whenever you decide on a DIY service or in need of our services.
All who work in the garden share love, nature, history, poetry, and culture.
“The splendid sun awaking from the east,
And to the west descending in its fall.
From its benignant rising to its rest,
Looks down with equal light and love on all.
So, genius glory-circled at its birth,
And gliding like a lamp of heaven on high,
Bathes with celestial radiance all the earth,
Which mirrors back that radiance to the sky.”
